What is freelofimusic.com?
Night Windows — a rainy lane of shop windows, each lit with a Purrple Cat cover. Play from the glass, step inside a window for a twelve-track session, or search the directory of 120 Self Release tracks. Stream, download MP3s, leave one credit.
Is the music free?
Yes. Self Releases are free under CC BY 4.0 with credit. See the Use page.
How is this different from other free lofi sites?
It is not a shop, a box of tapes, or a list of cards. You window-shop the music after dark — each pane is a real album cover, and opening it starts a listening session.
Are these AI songs?
No. Purrple Cat's music is not AI-generated.
Who is Purrple Cat?
A solo lofi project that started in December 2018 with Up All Night. 500+ songs, 500M+ streams, 425K followers. Mostly instrumental; the Memories EP and Please Hold Me have vocals (those are not in the windows).
Can I use this in my YouTube video or Twitch stream?
Yes, with credit.
